Happy Earth Day

Earth Day has always held a special place in my heart and memory. I was an undergraduate in Southern California for the first one, and was involved with the construction of eighty-eight geodesic domes that were cleverly arranged to spell out the word EARTH when seen from the air. At ground level they were booths for all sorts of goodies.

Earth Day has gained quite a bit of traction since then. Even our president joined in the festivities this morning. I guess his comment means that climate change is real…
